How to use the Shift+Key keys?

Hi all.

I studied the documentation for a long time and still didn’t understand how to specify the Shift+Key keys in defsrc to write capital letters.

I tried various options, assigning aliases, deflocalkey, etc. Nothing worked for me, the program displays an error message Unknown key in defsrc: or Repeat declaration of key in defsrc:.

Here is an example of a configuration file that is not correct, but demonstrates the desired idea:

You do not do it via extra entries defsrc with the modifier inputs, instead have the singular key and make use of fork or switch.

How do I make the keyboard capitalize letters when the Caps Lock key is active? I couldn't figure this out either.
And how do I use characters from other character sets, like ISO/IEC 8859?

I have no idea about ISO/IEC 8859.

Unfortunately Kanata doesn't support conditional logic based on caps lock state today, so it's not trivial to do.

You could probably get it working through some hacks of remapping caps to a combination of multi with toggled vkey or layer state and cmd to enforce the OS matches kanata's knowledge, but that's not very easy to do.
