Wow, you can already help me with performance testing 😄

The current scanning speed isn’t ideal yet. I’ve been working on optimizations, and the next version v0.1.14 should bring a significant improvement — over 3x faster.

I expect that for a library of around 160K files, the full scan can be completed in about 1 hour.

The speed is not perse an issue for me now, as during scanning I can still do what I want to do in Lap - tagging, rotating, searching, editing if I want. etc. - the tool itself runs so smooth.
And the tool is still quicker then myself 😄.

Lap took about 70 minutes to scan 193,000 pics and flicks (not including the generating-previews time). Looks like a solid app, just the one I needed after Picasa. Thanks!
