So, the way he does it in the video worked for me, too:

I don't yet have a USB-TTL adapter like he does, so to get the new TFT onto my bigger display I had to put it onto an SD card.
Here are the steps:
In Nextion Editor
Open Max's H5.hmi file
Go to Device at the right hand side of the menu bar
It will open on the Display option: O is standard horizontal, 180 is horizontal but turned 180d
Go to Device above Display in the same menu and choose your Nextion.
Then press OK

Now, you have changed the Nextion to your size. To get the TFT exported if not using a USB-TTL adapter I did the following:
instead of hitting Upload button in Nextion Editor, I pressed Compile and then File->TFT File Output and then I put that file onto a MicroSD card and followed Max's instructions from there.

Also, I did not have a small enough microSD card but there's a workaround!

Take your oversized SD card and partition it. One small, say, 4GB FAT32 partition and then the rest needs to be left "raw" or unformatted so the Nextion doesn't see it at all. That worked for me.
And yes, I am sucker, so I just asked ChatGPT how to do this in Terminal (I am on a Mac) and its commands worked perfectly.

On my Mac, with a 64GB card that shows up as disk4, these commands did the trick:

First, to get the disk number for the SD:
diskutil list

!!! MAKE SURE you change your disk number to what your system actually designates to that SD !!!

mine was disk4 so the next command was:
diskutil partitionDisk disk4 MBR
"MS-DOS FAT32" NEXTION 4G
"Free Space" "" R

After that, the Nextion accepted the card with zero issues:)
