Automated Backup Location

Hi,

Does anyone know where the automated backups from 0.29.0 are saved?

They are stored as a user asset which is stored in the assets directory keyed by the user/asset ID or in S3 if you have that configured. Normally you are not supposed to access them directly, but the backups page should list them for you. They are not meant to be a systems backup, they are more of a content backup.
