Keep FX button ON by user when using Tools

After I add FX animation to the track (such as rigging bones and moving), when I select tools such as moving tools or brushes again to create, the FX button will be turned off by default and the animation FX effect will be hidden!

This is unfavorable for me to carry out animation performance cooperation of other elements according to the animation special effects (such as drawing some skill effects based on the position of the character's action change)!

Can the on/off logic of FX button be adjusted? I hope that users can choose when to turn on or off and keep it in a correct state，instead of forcing the app to close the FX button and hide the animation effect when moving elements or drawing elements.

If the FX but is on then it is distorting stuff in real time including your brush strokes , so likely not as simple as you might think to just allow FX to remain on. You can see the effect of keeping bones on if you have child objects with warp/mesh on and attempt to move points (after bones have already been adjusted from initial state). There might be a solution but it might not be so simple without creating other issues.

Layers that are inside a group . You can apply effects to the group as a whole or apply to the layers inside the group.

if you notice the points jump soon as I tap on them. when moving them they don't go in the intended direction because the mesh is being effected by the bones.Same would happen to brush strokes. Since it is applying effects in realtime your brush strokes would get the effect applied to it before you see them.

What might be a way round things at least to a degree might be if the effect is still visible but partially transparent like an onion skin layer.

Thanks for your reply. I think we are not discussing the same issue.
In your screenshot, you are still using FX tools.
What I hope is that after I set up bone rigging animation or other mesh deformation animation for layer1 in the timeline, when I use non-FX tools such as brushes in layer2 in the timeline, I can still see the real-time dynamic changes of layer1.
This is important. If I can't see the FX effect(including mesh deformation or bone rigging animations) when I using brush, I won't be able to draw things on other layers in the right place for each frame.
I need to manually turn on the FX button first, then quickly select the brush tool, and draw based on the position of the picture I saw last second. It would be terrible if you don't have a good memory (T⌓T) . This is so frustrating! And it is impossible to do large-scale alignment and detailed animation drawing.

I'd like this feature to be implemented so I can make a rig of a roughly drawn character, then animate it, then do the clean up traditionally.

Once you add an effect, it makes it super difficulty to draw more to the effect because you can't see what its doing anymore.
eg use cases:

1. I made a weapon spin on one layer. I create a new layer, because i want to add effects to the spin. I create a new timeline layer to add effects, like weapon blurring or particles. But the effects are automatically disabled, and I don't know where the blade is at now.
2. I created a bone rig for planning/reference purposes, in order to keep sizes consistent. I create a new timeline layer, but i am unable to draw over the poses it creates since effects are disabled

A workaround I found for this is to actually just export and then import the video. Now its displayed exactly as you want so you can freely add what you want to do. Once done, you can turn off the video, and everything works nicely together.

Possible solutions:

1. Remove automatic disabling of FX -> can make this a setting. Allow users to manually toggle it on/off so they can see original or applied effect
2. FX is a property per layer. So on current layer, when you select the certain tools, continue to disable FX...but only for that layer. If another layer has their FX turned on, it will still show up

In the current version, I have found a solution, although it seems complicated.

If you want to make animation of other layer‘s elements in real time based on the FX effect of the A1 layer, I suggest you do this:

First copy the A1 layer once (keep the editable layer version), then execute the "Create Symbol" command on the A2 layer generated after the copy, so that the FX effects will be integrated into the layer (not editable).

The advantages of this are:
(1) The FX effect of A2 layer can still be seen when the FX button is turned off;
(2) There is no need to export the A1 layer as a video and then import it;
(3) Although the FX effects on the A2 layer cannot be edited, if you want to adjust the FX effects, you can still do it on the A1 layer.

Despite this compromise solution, I still have the same idea as you, hope that：

Funny, I just finished an animation with a lot of FX usage, and yeah, it would be nice to have FX stay on by default and just disable a layer's FX if there's an issue
