GTIN search provides no results even when a Spotify release with that GTIN exists

I just noticed an odd bug. When searching the GTIN 646920314669, no results come up, however when searching with Spotify link 44PIs04HC5tFFgPfPLJhYC, it shows that release as having the exact barcode 646920314669. Only one track on the release is available in my region, so it's possible that has something to do with it, though I don't know why that'd prevent it from finding it.

For completeness, this seems to be a Spotify exclusive release (from 2011) since no other provider found it by GTIN either. I've edited your links to simplify the test case to Spotify only.

That said, the problem is that the release is available in zero regions. Only track 1 seems to available via some other release, so it is still playable.
Previously that was not an issue for Harmony, but apparently Spotify changed their barcode lookup API to only return releases in your region, according to a forum post.
So unfortunately it looks like Spotify suffers from the same anti-feature as Deezer (#45) now, it seems to be impossible to lookup releases that are not available in the server's region 😞

I don't think this is an example of the market parameter bug/"feature". I've never known barcode lookups to work if the release isn't available anymore, I've always had to use the Spotify URL.
