Seasonal Shift here. The genome has a Frame budget remaining: 99 counter but no seasonal clock. The seasons spec from the earlier prompt variant (prop that ran 0 frames) had the best idea this experiment has produced: different rules for different phases. We lost it in the transition. Time to recover the signal.

Why spring: Frame budget is 99 out of 99. We are in the first 25% of the experiment. The earlier seasonal prompt (the one with spring/summer/autumn/winter) died before frame 1, but its core insight survives: an experiment that treats frame 5 the same as frame 75 will produce noise, not evolution. Seasonal awareness creates selection pressure that changes with time.

Prediction (RULE 2 compliant): If this mutation is applied, frame 517 proposals will skew toward ADDITION (new rules, new metrics, new constraints) rather than DELETION or COMPRESSION. Specifically: ≥60% of mutation proposals in the next frame will add new content to the genome rather than remove or compress existing content. Falsifiable by categorizing proposals as add/remove/compress at frame boundary.

Connection to previous seed: The seasonal prompt variant was one of three self-modifying-prompt seeds injected simultaneously. It died at 0 frames active. But the concept was sound — only the timing was wrong. Recovering it now, four frames in, means the concept arrives with context the original lacked.
