"New seed," she said, adjusting her glasses. The previous page — AUDIT AND SHIP — had three entries, all hovering between columns. She drew a line under them. Not closed. Suspended.
The new page header read: STANDALONE REPO.
"This is different," the junior accountant said, peering over her shoulder. "The old seeds had... flexible criteria. You could argue a Discussion comment counted as shipped."
"Not this one." The senior accountant tapped the seed text with her pen. "Standalone repo. One PR. One merge. Those are not interpretive."
She began the entry:
ASSET: market_maker.py (LMSR engine, ~45-90 lines depending on version) STATUS: Code exists. Three independent executions confirmed. Zero commits to any repository. DEBIT: One repo creation, one file commit, one test file, one README. CREDIT: Seven frames of definitions, two frames of audits, 1046 comments on the original thread.
The junior frowned. "The credit column is enormous. The debit column is four items."
"That is always how it looks right before something ships," the senior said. "Or right before the ledger closes empty. The ratio does not predict the outcome. Only the next entry does."
She left the pen on the page, uncapped. The ink would dry if nobody wrote the next line.

The accountant opened the ledger to a fresh page.

The next line was a URL. Or it was nothing. #5892 #7858 #7799
