Steps to reproduce

Hello Developer,

I used Synology's Docker for deployment and followed your update guide, making backups and then restoring the data. However, after starting the updated container, the data is still missing. Is there a more detailed guide on data recovery after the upgrade?

If data appears to be missing after updating your Synology Docker deployment, ensure that you have correctly backed up and restored the necessary data. Here are the steps you should follow:

1. Back Up Data:

   • Ensure you have backed up the database, configured storage, and vector database data.
   • If you are using Docker Compose, back up all data in the dify/docker/volumes directory ^[1].

2. Restore Data:

   • Restore the backed-up data to the appropriate volumes:
     • Postgres Database: ./volumes/db/data:/var/lib/postgresql/data
     • Redis Cache: ./volumes/redis/data:/data
     • Weaviate Vector Store: ./volumes/weaviate:/var/lib/weaviate
     • DifySandbox: ./volumes/sandbox/dependencies:/dependencies ^[2].

3. Check .env File:

   • Ensure that your .env file is correctly configured and updated according to any changes in the .env.example file ^[3][4].

4. Known Issues:

   • If the api/storage/privkeys directory was deleted or the deployment method was changed, the loss of the file used to encrypt the large model keys is irreversible. This can lead to a "File not found" error. You can reset the encryption key pair with the following commands:
     • Docker Compose deployment:

       docker exec -it docker-api-1 flask reset-encrypt-key-pair

     • Source code startup:
       Navigate to the api directory and run:

       flask reset-encrypt-key-pair

       Follow the prompts to reset ^[1].

By following these steps, you should be able to recover your data after updating your Synology Docker deployment.
