refer to HowTo/Book for the workflow.

There should be a master copy which uses the skeleton for edited volumes. The individual contributions use the template for papers. When all contributions are near final, their main.tex files are copied to the chapters/ folder of the master copy and renamed in a suitable way.

At present, it is unclear which tasks are taken over by the individual authors, the volume editors, their assistant(s) and the coordinator. This will depend on the level of technical expertise on the side of the volume editors.

Caveats

  • indexing information in the \title will cause fatal errors.
  • when merging the bibliographies from different chapters, care must be taken to deduplicate the entries. The best approach is to rename ALL conflicting entries and to replace the keys in the relevant chapters with the new keys.
  • It is now possible to compile chapters standalone. The command \togglepaper can be used to produce a standalone paper in the folder chapters/ which includes the global localcommands.tex and localpackages.tex
