Welcome to the Hushlist wiki 🚀🚀🚀!
Hushlist implements encrypted mailing lists (both public and private) with both anonymous OR pseudonymous senders and receivers, using the privacy coin Hush, a fork of Zcash. In theory any Zcash fork (including Zcash itself) which follows the Zcash protocol can support Hushlist, but in practice it is developed on HUSH (and the TUSH testnet). Certain features of Hushlist might require RPC methods that only exist on the Hush or other certain chains, so the features of Hushlist available to you depend on which chain(s) you choose to use.
Hushlist will be a command-line program for the near-term, eventually it will implement most of the required features, and then other implementations (local GUI/web/etc) can begin. By then, conventions and config files and things like that will have settled down.
Hushlist v1 is currently being worked on. This version only supports data fitting into a single Hushlist memo (512ish bytes), Hushlist v2 will allow multi-part sends of say, a 10KB file into 20 Hushlist memos.
