I want to add opacity options for charts

Description

I want to define Opacity for the series in my graph. Ideally this would happen by supporting 8 digit hex codes instead of 6.

What problem does this solve?

It gives more flexibility for chart visualizations

Hi @oli-rmsy, if no one is working on this, I'd like to take up this issue and make the necessary tweaks.

Just a quick queue -> do we want to support 8-digit HEX (HEXA) everywhere, or should I introduce a prop to enable it only where needed? Let me know your thoughts.
