Mouse not working after Macbook waking up

Describe the bug

I have a Razor DeathAdderV2 that was working very well with LinearMouse until a macOS update last night. Now when my Macbook Pro M4 wakes up after sleeping, the mouse doesn't work anymore. Trackpad continues to work.

To reproduce

1. Mouse working properly.
2. Lock Macbook.
3. Unlock Macbook.
4. Mouse not working at all.

Expected behavior

1. Mouse working properly.
2. Lock Macbook.
3. Unlock Macbook.
4. Mouse continues to work.

Seems like the macbook needs to be asleep for a couple of minutes to reproduce.

Thanks for the report.

Could you clarify what "not working" means? Is the cursor not moving, or are the buttons unresponsive? I tried reproducing the issue on a Mac mini, but it worked fine for me.

It would be helpful if you could export the logs after reproducing the issue.

The mouse doesn't respond at all. No pointer movement or clicks or scroll. Seems to still be powered, I can see the laser on. It reproduces quite easily for me, but as I said, you have to wait for about 1 minute or so while the screen is powered off. I'm using multiple external monitors in addition to the macbook screen. I exported a log right after waking the computer (which has been sleeping for about 2 minutes) and finding the mouse to be unresponsive. I hope this helps to track it down.

Seems like it could be a problem with the mouse not "waking up" after the macbook does. Unplugging and replugging it seems to fix it. Could just be a problem with the latest macOS, and not solvable with LinearMouse, so I'm happy to ignore it for now. If I find anything else that's helpful, I'll let you know, Thanks for an excellent product. Been very happy with it overall. :)

Thanks for the updates. If the issue still occurs after quitting LinearMouse, that strongly suggests, as you suspected, it’s likely a bug in macOS itself. Please feel free to update this issue anytime if you run into more findings or related problems.
