v0.2.15
Fixed
- The phone no longer opens on a black screen: the web shell paints its first frame in the phone's light or dark color, and the Android app's WebView background follows the phone's mode instead of a fixed dark value.
- Reopening the app after Android killed its process shows the page again: it loads the saved relay address instead of restoring a blank WebView state, keeps the sign-in cookie on disk, and reloads the page on a pull from the top.
v0.2.14
Fixed
- Remote control no longer sits on "Reconnecting…" forever: a duplicate device waits with a long backoff and says why, a rejected token reports an expired sign-in, and a manual reconnect is available.
- Only the host that owns the team binds the connector, so a second window cannot take turns kicking the original offline.
- A copied
relay.jsonno longer carries another machine's pairing id; existing installs keep theirs. - The computer name replaces a macOS hostname such as
bogonin Settings and the phone's device picker. - The relay clears a device cookie that names a desktop which is no longer paired.
v0.2.13
Fixed
- Group chats show their messages in the window and on the phone. The window drew a group's header and sidebar row but left the conversation empty: it only ever loaded a Bot's own chat. A group now pages its relay Session, which holds the user's messages and every member's posts, and the live feed brings new group messages as they arrive. Each post shows its sender, as the team's group view does.
0.2.12
Fixed
- A lost relay connection now heals itself. The remote-control connector retries after a socket error even when no
closeevent follows, and reconnects after 60 seconds of silence instead of staying on a half-open socket. Previously a stale socket could stay in place, so the phone kept connecting but the desktop never came back until the app was restarted.
The desktop app and the web shell ship the same version; their installers are attached below once the build finishes.
0.2.11
Changed
- The bundled DeepSeek Harness moves from 0.2.1-rc.2 to 0.2.1-rc.5. The desktop app, the app engine, the test harness and the release workflow all pin the same version, and the install commands in the docs name it.
wsfollows the newer DSH to 8.22.1 so electron-builder still packs it.
DS Bot 0.2.10
macOS
- The app installs itself. On its first start the macOS build copies itself into Applications, removes the download quarantine from that copy, opens it and ends, so the zip and the unzipped folder can be deleted afterwards. An app already there is replaced unless it is running.
- The macOS download stays a zip rather than a dmg: macOS 26 reports a downloaded unsigned dmg as damaged (#351). The zip now behaves like an installer.
Stability
- A window process that dies no longer leaves a Host running as an orphan at high CPU. The Host sends a heartbeat and ends itself when its window process is gone; the window process ends a Host that stays silent for 45 seconds.

DS Bot 0.2.9
Group chats
- New conversation. A group chat can start a fresh conversation from its right-click menu or Settings → group → New conversation. Its name, members, settings and memory stay; the earlier conversation is archived.
- Duplicate group. The right-click menu and the group settings also offer Duplicate group, which copies the members and settings into a new group with no conversation and no memory.
- A group chat now keeps a stable id apart from its current relay Session, so its memory and settings no longer depend on the open Session.
Docs
- The READMEs explain how to open the macOS build the first time when Gatekeeper reports that it cannot verify the app.

DS Bot 0.2.7
Phone
- Android app —
DeepSeek-Bot-0.2.7-android.apk: a window onto the phone page the relay serves, so the phone gets an icon instead of a browser tab. The relay address is kept on the device and asked once on the first run, links to other origins open in the browser, the back button walks the page's history, and the chat's attach button opens the system file picker. - The phone page is now the desktop window's own views — sidebar, header, chat and overlays — in a single column with a back button, instead of a separate mobile list.

The APK is signed with the debug key unless the repository sets the signing secrets, so installing a newer build over an older one may need an uninstall first. The desktop packages are unsigned by a store key; macOS and Linux open the release page for updates.
