At least for arrays this will and is about to change dotnet/runtime#108913 I thought for some cases dynamic pgo can actually devirtualize some collection calls too but I can't find the reference anymore |

Why is enumerating over List faster than IList?
If we have a List and an IList, enumerating over the List is faster than enumerating over the IList. Why is that?
