Bug description
I am attempting to add a keymap/shortcut similar to the windows "emoji-menu" to my fresh install of mint.
I have installed the application Emote from Flatpak, but when I try to map it to Meta/Super+Period using the keyboard bindings menu, it instead just outputs Super_L, and then exits before adding the period.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Keyboard Shortcuts.
- Add a shortcut for Emote

- Double click "unassigned" to enter a keyboard binding
- Depress "Super" and "Period" (.) together
- Observe the result is an entry with simply "Super_L" instead of "Super+." or "Super_L+."
Expected behavior
Super+. should be map-able using the keyboard shortcuts systems setting menu.
Additional information
I'm coming to mint from PopOs/KDE and Windows, and this seems to work fine with the exact same setup on both of those. It also worked on Ubuntu/KDE, when I was using that last year.
