"Move window to edge" also incorrectly moves window along the edge

I'm on Linux Mint 14.1 with Cinnamon 1.6.7. When pressing the keyboard shortcut to move a window to the right, top, left, or bottom edge, the window is also moved along the edge.

When moving a window to top or bottom edge, the window is also shifted a few pixels to the right. When moving a window to right or left edge, the window is also shifted a few pixels to the bottom.

Repeatedly moving to the same edge (for example Ctrl+Alt+Left for left edge) will keep moving the window along the edge...

Same happens to me. When moving to left/right edge, the window seems to shift down by about the width of the window's top bar (maybe 30 pixels?). Moving to top/bottom edge, the window always shifts to the right, by maybe 1 or 2 pixels.

I've seen the behavior in LM 15, 16 and now 17.

*EDIT: Looks like this issue is actually in muffin, in ~/src/core/keybindings.c, in the handle_move_to_corner_backend(). Will make a comment on that repository.

No worries, thanks for getting it committed so quickly! Glad you caught my typo too: x/y instead of top/left. Didn't read windows.c closely enough.

Finally figured out how to compile too, after a google search. Duh.
