Description
Hello all!
I sometimes have the problem that "timeshift" creates snapshots at very inconvenient times - e.g. during video conferences. On my notebook for that, the resources are heavily used and video and audio processing "jerks".
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to have an option to pause already started creations of snapshots.
For example: Right-click on the gear icon on the right side of the start bar → context menu → pause current snapshot.
Afterward, in the same place in the context menu, the entry should change to "Resume current snapshot".
Describe alternatives you've considered
The alternative would be to deactivate all scheduled jobs before video conferences and reactivate scheduled jobs after video conferences. This is cumbersome on the one hand and on the other hand does not help with snapshots that have already been started.
Fixed times for backups wouldn't help either, since I can have video conferences at a wide variety of times, and the computer is off during idle hours.
