ipywidget suddenly stopped working as of Jul/2025

First of all, I really appreciate your work. I've been using this for a while now with no problems. But as of Jul/2025, it suddenly stopped working (with confirmations from my colleagues as well). The following error message showed up in VScode:

Unable to find widget 'smiles_widget' version '0.1.0' from configured widget sources ["jsdelivr.com","unpkg.com"]. Expected behavior may be affected. Click here for more information.

update to fix, jupyter lab environment works but failed in VSCode environment.
