Can I ask why? And why 6+? Have particular issues been seen with these? |
I want to gradually deprecate all versions that don't take intializer_list, 6 is an arbitrary cutoff point that keeps the number of changes in the tree manageable. I didn't want to update 100 files in one PR. |

I'm going to pre-commit changes to the calls to .Cases before landing the deprecation to minimize potential churn if we need to revert the deprecation for code not built by CI that I might have missed. |

This pre-commits API updates ahead of the deprecation to make potential reverts cleaner. This was already reviewed in #163405.

This is a part of a larger cleanup of StringSwitch. The goal is to eventually deprecate all manually-enumerated overloads of Cases with a hardcoded number of case values (in favor of passing them via an initializer list). You can find the full explanation here: #163117.
Start small (6+ arguments) to keep the number of changes manageable.
