NPM was missing buffering for non-seekable output streams (stdout, pipes), causing assertion failures when generating object files with `-o -`. Use buffer_ostream to provide seekable buffering, matching legacy PM behavior.

The assertion we hit is: Without this fix, several AMDGPU/DebugInfo tests fail under NPM, for example: The patch tries to be consistent with legacy llc.cpp (lines 739–745) to ensure consistent behavior and restore these tests to passing. |
