Web Companion for SD2SNES / FXPAK PRO

Caution

This is a beta firmware designed to work with an ESP32 or ESP8266 connected to the SD2SNES via UART, adding extra functionality. It is still under development and may contain bugs.

🌐 Web UI

• Upload, download, rename, and delete files
• Update SD2SNES and Companion (ESP32/ESP8266) firmware via .zip packages
• Connect to Wi-Fi through the SD2SNES menu or Access Point mode

• Download game covers from the SD2SNES menu or Web UI

• Support for small TFT/I²C displays to show the currently selected game's cover art

Current Limitations

• File transfer speed is limited to approximately 40 KB/s due to UART bandwidth constraints
• Companion firmware updates performed at boot can take around 30 seconds
• Web UI responsiveness may vary depending on the ESP32/ESP8266 model and Wi-Fi signal quality
