Osmo Client 1.3.0: a field monitor
A field monitor on your computer: scopes and exposure assists over the live view, more camera settings, gallery favorites and a steadier picture.
Unofficial and independent: not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by DJI.
New
- Monitoring tools over the live view: histogram, waveform, RGB parade and vectorscope; false color, zebras (white or black-and-white stripes) and focus peaking; grids, frame guides (2.39:1 … 9:16) and a center cross. Full screen (double-click the picture), save a still, keys
HWRVFZPGL. They work on the picture shown on the computer; nothing changes on the camera. - Display LUT (
.cube): see D-Log M footage as it will look once converted, applied only while the camera records in a log profile (or always). It is for viewing only: the recording keeps its log profile. Get the official LUTs from DJI's LUT downloads. - Exposure compensation (±3 EV in Auto) and the camera's own light meter.
- Image settings, as the camera offers them in each mode: color profile (Normal, 10-bit, D-Log M), field of view, stabilization, sharpness, noise reduction.
- Timelapse interval (0.5 s – 1 h) and duration, hyperlapse speed.
- Storage: internal memory and microSD shown separately.
- Gallery: favorites (the camera keeps the mark) and a Favorites filter; resolution and frame rate of each clip; watch 48–60 fps clips slowed down to 24/25/30 fps; the list and thumbnails are kept on the computer, so the gallery opens at once.
- Shared Wi-Fi (experimental): the camera can join your Wi-Fi network (or the computer's hotspot) instead of the computer joining the camera's, so the computer keeps its internet. Cameras → Wi-Fi → Change. Networks must allow WPA2.
- Delete files on the camera (experimental, off by default): start the app with
--allow-delete; it always asks first.
Fixed
- Live view: a large frame was split in two and broke the picture until the next keyframe. Each frame is now assembled by its declared size.
- If the picture stalls, the app asks the camera for a fresh one and, if that is not enough, restarts the link, keeping the last picture on screen (marked NO VIDEO) meanwhile.
