v5.0.1 — Skills installer, npx forwarding and the CUDA memory fix

Patch release. Nothing breaking on upgrade, and existing indexes need no reindex.

Highlights

• Skills installer: knowledge-rag skills install|uninstall|status installs the 10 usage skills on Linux, macOS and Windows from a pip install or through npx -y knowledge-rag skills install. It detects the user's coding assistants, asks once per skills folder, records a SHA-256 manifest, and uninstall removes only what it recorded. npx knowledge-rag now forwards its arguments (it used to start a plain stdio server), and importing mcp_server no longer creates data/, documents/ or models_cache/ folders (#283).
• GPU memory: with CUDA, VRAM returns to the driver after indexing and after every search instead of staying at its peak. On an RTX 3080 Ti the process held 456 MiB after indexing instead of 1816 MiB, and 466 MiB over 20 searches instead of 4898 MiB. The cross-encoder reranker now follows models.embedding.gpu (#277).
• Tool descriptions: the MCP tool descriptions shown to agents no longer list a fixed set of categories; they match the configured categories, and min_score is documented as a per-query normalized filter, not an absolute threshold (#276).
• README: redesigned around measured results and a sourced 16-project comparison, with new "Configuration in 30 seconds" and "35 file formats" sections (#284).
• Dependencies: pytest 9.2.0, pytest-benchmark 5.3.1, mutmut 3.8.1 and mypy 2.4.1 (#281, #280, #282, #278); dependabot now ignores onnxruntime-gpu >=1.27 because those wheels ship CUDA 13 while the [gpu] extra pins CUDA 12 (#285).
