Magento 2 using Zend Framework 2 ?

Do you propose to use the Zend Framework version 2 ?. For the forms, for example, it would be useful to use Zend\Form, Zend\InputFilter . If it is the case, how can i use Zend\Form, Zend\InputFilter in Magento 2 ?. If no, can you add it in the next release ?.

Wouldnt it be better to split the front end and admin as 2 separate application?
also it would be nice if its possible to remove shoppingcart[order management functionality] from magento as an option. my website is a price comparison website which doesnot require the shopping cart functionality still using Magento for it really is too bulky to administrate

@verklov I'm very curious why you guys made the decision to stick with Zend Framework 1 (at least for now). Are there any technical or other details that you can share? I'm sure others are curious about this too.

Hey @dworzanski. It's a pragmatic decision based on our minimal use of ZF components - there's just not enough value in making this change given the effort involve and the benefits derived.

The ZF1 question comes up frequently (and we answer it regularly). I'm curious to know where we could publish this reasoning where you might have found it... let me know if you have thoughts on that.
