No errors displayed in Magento installation

At database & session step, no errors are shown when pressing continue, but the form is completely reset and stuck on the current step without progressing.

Thank you for reporting this issue to us! Did you succeed in installing Magento already or the issue with installation still shows up? If yes, could you please provide more information on whether you perform installation over a clean database? Were there any peculiarities in installation beside the step you reported?

Seems the installation doesn't like to be on localhost, which is pretty
weird and unexpected, and bad behavior. Also, in 1.7.0.2 there is an error
in the installation database config XML file, which prevents a connection
from happening and not hiving you an error for it.

Hi @chenasraf, we completely refactored and changed setup tool. I am closing this ticket, please try new installation tool located in /setup/ folder.
