Steps to reproduce

1.install Magento 2.0.6 with PHP 7

Expected result

1. unable to access the backend block Page
   

Actual result

1.VM10326:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 104688

Unfortunately, I could not reproduce the issue as you described it. Is this problem is still relevant for latest release Magento 2?
