BOTWRecompAndroid 0.3.1 (beta 28): rune and camera crashes, Switch-screen motion, shared memory on Xclipse
Pre-releaseBeta 28.
Voltou a acompanhar a hora.
Nenhum arquivo do jogo vem incluído. Testada num celular só (POCO F7 Ultra, Adreno 830, Turnip). Para instalar e configurar: 0.1.0-beta. Créditos no README.
Beta 28. Fewer crashes with runes and the Slate's camera, gyro aiming like the Switch's screen, and shared memory trying another way on Xclipse.
New
- Phone motion like the Switch's screen (Menu > Controls; #211, #247): with it on, tilting and turning the phone work as on the Switch in handheld mode. Try it if tilting the phone turns the aim and turning it tilts. Controllers with a gyroscope stay as before.
- Game memory through a shared file (experimental):
- When the driver offers no memory the CPU can use the usual way, the app now tries a dma-buf (#234, Xclipse).
- The log says why the option wasn't used (for example, the driver can't export memory) and which export kinds the driver has (#249).
- If you have a Mali or Xclipse, please try it and send the log: Settings > Driver compatibility.
Fixes
- Crashes with Magnesis, Stasis and the Slate's camera (#235, #241, #248, #247): one of the game's checks on the rune's or camera's target, before that target was ready, read an empty pointer. In Native mode it now answers "no", and in both modes such a read returns zero instead of crashing the game. Each case shows in the log as "the game's code read address".
- Weather forecast (#243): with the minimap up top (touch controls), the forecast floated in the middle of the screen. It's back next to the time.
- Memory mappings on Mali (#249): the log now shows where the count comes from (the game's memory, the GPU driver, the rest), to find what still reaches Android's limit in long sessions.
No need to build the game code again: just install over 0.2.x or 0.3.0.
Known issues
- 1.0.0 in combat: enemies can leave black lines when they die, and the game can close during a fight. Please use 1.8.2 or 1.9.0 for now.
- Rain falls slower than on the console.
- Short grass in the distance only appears up close.
- On Qualcomm's stock driver, the pause menu's background is black.
- Native mode: Link sometimes flickers on the first hit he takes.
No game files are included. Tested on one phone only (POCO F7 Ultra, Adreno 830, Turnip). To install and set up: 0.1.0-beta. Credits in the README.
