v2.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 31 Oct 11:52

Other channels (EOG, ECG, ...) on BIP, AUX or EEG channels, which can be added, renamed, moved and removed. Montage problems (two electrodes on one channel, one name for two electrodes, a channel the amplifier does not have, a montage made for another amplifier) are ringed in red and listed in a status bar. Save (Ctrl+S) and Save As, with unsaved changes shown in the title. Montages record the amplifier and, for the equidistant layout, exact positions. TMSi channel types are read, so montages count EXG channels as the OpenViBE UG server does. New command-line options --amplifier, --device, --protocol, --save-on-close and --result, which the OpenViBE UG acquisition server uses to open the driver's amplifier and take the edited montage over. Montages saved by 2.2 can not be opened by 2.1 or older. Re-released: the colour bar stays in place when other channels are added, and Setup > Add Other Channel puts the new channel in the cluster at the right.

v2.1.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 30 Oct 08:42

Charmeleon.exe "path\to\montage.json" opens that montage instead of the default 10/20 layout; OpenViBE UG's acquisition server starts Charmeleon with its driver's montage this way. The default layout is now found next to the executable, so starting Charmeleon from another folder works.

v2.0.3

Charmeleon has a new icon: the green, leaf-tailed Charmeleon, now with a transparent background. You see it in the window's title bar, the taskbar, the shortcuts, the About window and the installer. At the smallest sizes (title bar, small taskbar) it shows a close-up of the head, so that the face stays recognizable.

When you edit an electrode's channel in channel view, the electrode's name now stays visible inside its circle, so it is clear which electrode you are editing.

2.0.3 was re-released on 25 October 2026 with that fix.
