Button shadow gets cropped on left and right

The elevation is a great addition to the button, however the shadow gets cropped left and right. From the Basic example has right cropped shadow:

I have difficulty getting it to work, discussed it with the native Android programmer in our team. The way Android renders the elevation is outside of its bounds, when going native you would use the property clipToPadding=false to allow the shadow to be drawn. However seems that things such as overflow="visible" are not working.

Anyone want to take a shot at this?

Additionally the 12px bottom margin causes the action button to be pushed into the wrong location.

We either need to get that clipToPadding working; or we need to apply the 12px margins to all 4 corners and offset the button so it exists in the correct location.

I have just tried to make another implementation of Action Button (just init) and seems everything is ok, isn't it?

I'm having this issue in one Mac with Sierra, but in another with Yosemite the buttons are fine.

Maybe it has nothing to do with the OS but it's so weird and I checked in Android SDK and all the versions are equal between the two Macs.

@JBlaak I read that android doesn't actually support overflow:'visible'.
I didn't know clipToPadding=false, sounds like a good idea. another option is to simply enlarge the surrounding view and still keep the relative position...

It seems the easiest solution is to add a margin to animatedViewStyle, and then readjust the button positioning by changing the offsetX/offsetY in ActionButton.defaultProps
