Hammad is the How-To documentation champion from the Steubenville workshop. He has collected ideas here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JxG4WKaMRGDSu2jyKrGoGg1dsKl0IVvuR_BDzZm3RfQ/edit?tab=t.0
This is the list of topics they brainstormed:
How do I add an interactive exercise to a document?
Webwork
Doenet
Multiple choice/select
Parsons
Matching
Others? MyOpenMath?
How do I insert a sage cell? (one for Geogebra also?)
How do I refer to an earlier item (numbered equations and also xref-ed items)?
How do I change the names and knowl behavior of Activity/Checkpoint/Exercises/Examples?
How do I insert a picture or video?
How do I insert an external link?
How do I change the numbering behavior of sections, theorems, examples, etc?
How do I change how the table of contents appears?
How/when do I use sidebyside or sbsgroup instead of tables?
Where can I see more examples of things that can be done?
How do I get more help on something I can’t find out how to do?
How do I create a worksheet?
How do I create slides? (standalone and in a pretext book)
How do I create an article, letter, memo? (Right now, those of us mainly using codespaces can use the template to start a new project, but the new project is always a book, and it isn’t super obvious how to change it to an article. And letter and memo seem only to live in the examples folder of the github repository, rather than the pretext guide or sample anything, and also seem to be saying they only work with latex output? Searching the guide for “memo” returns no results.)
