How do I set up a database?

The documentation only includes environmental variables about the database, but doesn't include which image with which volumes and such I should use. How can I set it up?

The ezBookkeeping server initializes the database on first startup. And each subsequent startup checks whether the database schema defined in the application differs from the existing schema, and automatically applies any required structural updates.

Does ezBookkeeping container provide the database? Or do I need to use external database? Because when I run with the defaults, it can't find the database hostname.
