Trying to connect the pi pico 2w over wifi

I am new in this project, jumped over from meshtastic. I have a pi pico with a lora board, and it works over wifi for the management and the app. The pi pico 2w has no bluetooth. I am searching how to configure over usb the pico to work with wifi, ando or give it an ipnr of whatever is needed to be able to connect it to the app on my phone or the web interface... i searched in the docu, can't find it.

I have the same problem and had to learn that connection over Wi-Fi is not (yet?) supported. Worse, in repeater/roomserver mode it will not reboot into a state that you can connect to over LoRa, either... I put the PicoW to the side for now, until a new firmware arrives at the horizon.

I have been able to put the pico into repeatermode and from another node take remote contol over lora of this repeater. Is it ideal no, does it work, yes it seems i can use the command line to configurer. Main configuration is done over usb and the rest remotely.
