Tool to merge left and right sheets

If all stacks have two shutters then we enable in the widget some buttons or whatever for allowing merging. This can include a set of radio buttons to allow the user to switch between viewing only shutter one, only shutter two, or both.

Choose where the midpoint of the merge will be. Can maybe do this with napari curtain. A simple way of merging around this point is described here.

Once the user selects to enable the merge, probably we should store the unmerged raw stacks in a new folder. We want to somehow encourage archiving & compression or (eventual) deletion of the original images.

Hi, Rob,
To reduce the data volume, oftentimes users prefer only one shutter per tile for most tiles (usually it is clear before acquisition which one is better, based on tile X location). It can be so that only for tiles in the middle of the sample both shutters are available.

This plugin's scope is non-tiled acquisitions. I'm going to worry about tiled later in a different tool.
