You can already do this — a typed-link field accepts multiple links, either inline same:: [[aa]], [[bb]] or as a YAML list:

same:
  - "[[aa]]"
  - "[[bb]]"

Each link becomes its own edge, and [[ ]] autocomplete works per item as you noted.
