[Feedback] Remap Shortcuts requires a modifier key

For the keyboard manager on remaping shortscuts, it would be really help full if I didn't have to have a modifer key along with another key. For example i'm attempting to remap Alt + Left to F2 however I can't do that as it require a modifer key so I would have to do Alt + F2.

I did a search the issues and didn't see this so hopefully i'm not opening up a duplicate.

I would really like use one key for combinations of the other modifier keys, unless creation of a new modifier suddenly becomes available. That is, I want to make one of my ctrl keys always ctrl+alt (so that ctrl+alt+key only requires two keys) and an extra key to ctrl-alt-shift. However, we can't map to key combinations so much an executable shortcuts, and there's a limit of two modifier keys per shortcut. Is it possible to ever overcome these two limitations?
