Black screen when using RDP to connect to computer with PowerToys running

I've found that I often get just a black screen that I can't interact with when I had PowerToys running. I found that I had to close the session, kill at least dwm.exe (if not explorer.exe and even Firefox), then reconnect to the system using RDP. This sometimes seemed to take multiple attempts. I'm not sure if there are other variables as I uninstalled PowerToys because I couldn't afford to have to go through that when I needed to RDP. I have not experienced this problem since uninstalling.

Need clearer information. I run RDP daily and haven't hit this.

DPI on your monitor? What PTs are you runnign? what version of PT was this?

This was a while back, I think I specified the version in the submission. The situation was that I would RDP into my machine from home over a VPN to work. I would only have a black screen displayed. No amount of waiting would resolve this. I would disconnect, kill dwm.exe at least, sometimes explorer or Firefox as well, and then RDP again successfully. I haven't had this issue since uninstalling PT. I really never utilized PT anyway, but I wanted to provide the information. I was running RDP full screen on my laptop at native resolution. I am pretty sure that it is a 1080 display.

@Billiamh does this still reproduce with 0.29.3? I RDP into my desktop at work daily.

I can reinstall and try it again. I can't think of any specifics that would be relevant. I was typically connecting over a vpn, but I can't think of any reason that this would add to the problem.  Sent from Nine
