[FZ Editor] "Match not found" error

📝 Provide detailed reproduction steps (if any)

1. Create a new layout
2. Choose desired zones
3. Save and exit window

✔️ Expected result

The custom layout should automatically apply when saved. The newly saved custom layer should trigger whenever I want to use FancyZones.

❌ Actual result

The default layout (three zones) always triggers instead. Also, I'm getting an 'editor parsing settings' error whenever I use a shortcut to open the FancyZones editor.

FancyZones fails to properly detect your monitor, after that the other errors are a consequence.
Since you have only one monitor connected, turn off the option:

Then quit PowerToys and delete the FancyZones settings (you will have to recreate the custom layout)
You can delete the file form the command prompt or in Explorer.
From the command prompt run:

del %localappdata%\Microsoft\PowerToys\FancyZones\zones-settings.json

or open Explorer and paste in the address bar %localappdata%\Microsoft\PowerToys\FancyZones
and then manually delete zones-settings.json

Restart PowerToys.
Open the FancyZones Editor, if it still shows the Match not found error, run the Report Bug command again and upload the zip file.

Closing the issue, but clearly there is a problem with accumulating device id(s) over time.
We cannot arbitrarily delete device id(s) just because a device is not currently connected, but we might consider removing them after a period of time (30 days?).
I will open a new issue.
