Messaging endpoint for Bots

Hi,

When i provide the ngrok url in the messaging endpoint for bots it works fine, but when i give custom url with AWS Certificate, it doesn't send any messages back to the endpoint, is their any configuration to enable custom domains?

https://ee90-122-171-203-37.ngrok.io/addons/msteams/1/events - works (receives the messages from ms teams bot app)
https://mithunh.bfcus.tempo.dev/addons/msteams/1/event - doesnt work(doesn't receive any messages from ms teams bot app)

Hi @mithun35h Does this issue reproduce with other channels? For example; are you able to connect to the custom endpoint using Bot Framework Emulator (and appropriate url & credentials)?

I am not able to connect to using Bot Framework emulator using ngrok itself (ngrok works, when i give ngrok url)
with ngrok in msteams app studio settings(works from preview

)

Same url when provided in Botframework emulator it throws the below error

when i provide custom domain in botframework emulator

NOTE: i am provide BOT Id & Password as Microsoft APP ID and password in Bot Framework Emulator

Hi @mithun35h

I'm assuming that https://mithunh.bfcus.tempo.dev/addons/msteams/1/event is not publicly accessible (as I am getting a 503 error). Is that correct? If that is the case, and you have it locked down via firewall, etc; you need to make sure it is accessible by ngrok, your machine, or whatever connector services (Teams, Directline) need to get access to it.

For the third image above (connecting from emulator to tempo.dev), it looks like ngrok is not configured in Emulator. Please enable that per settings:

You will need to close and restart Emulator after configuring it in such a way.
