What's New in Dev Home + 'Introducing Dev Home' Improvements

Suggested new feature or improvement

Today, the 'Introducing Dev Home' page lets users know how to get started quickly with a few suggestions, but it's not very dynamic and isn't useful for users that are already familiar with what Dev Home is.

As our community continues to add more features into the product, we need a great way to tell people about new features and to help them get started and understand how these features actually work.

The What's New page in Dev Home can let users know what changes have come in the most recent release and we can even integrate the full release notes for users to further investigate.

Here are some ideas I'm hoping we can build:

1. An easy way for users to quickly see what's new in each release and how to take advantage of said features.
2. A way for users to quickly see the release's top community contributors.
3. A list of the top bug fixes

Here are some ideas we should explore further:

1. Checklists that help new users step through Dev Home and explore its tools.
2. Walk-throughs that help guide users through each new/existing feature.
3. Links to video content describing functionality and showcasing new features.

Scenario

New users would have more opportunities to explore Dev Home and understand what it offers and existing users would be able to quickly catch up on what's new.

I have some more ideas/design mock-ups, but I'm curious to hear from you all on what you want! If you have any great ideas, please share them on this thread!
