What's the main blockers for coming out of preview?

I've been following this project for quite a while and have been eagerly anticipating 1.0 release. What are the main blockers for going out of public preview and to 1.0 RC or release?

If it's mainly the unresolved Node lib issue, which is outside the control of this project, then it would be good to know that. As I understand it, that makes it a bit more of a hassle to set up using this, but if it's otherwise ready to use, then that would inform whether or not it's basically safe to start using as long as you know about that.
