Always headless:true it seems

Linux 24.04 Cursor IDE with the base settings in the JSON for the MCP, no mention of headless, I then run it from CLI cursor-agent and it never shows me a browser, it can open the page, takes a snap store it on disk for me, all good... just never see it live in the browser.

So I tried it in Cursor IDE and it works... the CLI when I /mcp list shows playwright..

Not sure.

This happens when MCP server runs in the environment w/o DISPLAY. Cursor's CLI is a terminal app, it does not want GUI tools to pop up from it. You can run Playwright MCP server separately and point Cursor at it instead. See https://github.com/microsoft/playwright-mcp?tab=readme-ov-file#standalone-mcp-server

I will look at this, in my head I am not headless I have a monitor in front of me! :-) Guess it looks at, well you launched it from a text command line... so.... headless? I get it, will let you know how I get on, thanks!

I assume this was resolved. File a new one if it wasn't - we don't read closed issues.
