By this time, Playwright operates differently than Puppeteer:
- Playwright relies upon Browser Contexts
- emulates all aspects across pages, intercepts network across pages and popups
- supports workers and many other features
- supports shadow dom and custom selector engines
- awaits for clicks and navigations in a more expected manner
- suports Chromium, Firefox and WebKit uniformly.
- and many, many more
But at the same time, both projects talk to the same Chromium runtime, so many bugs reported against Puppeteer would also apply to Playwright. I'll be cross-checking popular Puppeteer bugs and mark them as wither passing or failing in Playwright here.
