Add Custom python.pythonPath to List of Interpreters #8240

This is a feature request from my post on Stack Overflow.
In brief, it would be good to have any additional python interpreters in the python.pythonPath setting be shown in the list. See the attached image

It shows the correct interpreter as 'current', however it would be good to have all available interprets in this list.
Also, in the situation as shown in the image, if I were to hit enter, it would silently select the Python 2.7.15 64bit entry. In order to confirm my wish to use an interpreter I have to hit esc.
