Generic Codespaces Extension Option Doesn't Work

There is an error pictured in the attachments. Here is how you can reproduce this from a vanilla repo and a vanilla codespace:

1. Command Shift P and type "Add Development Container Configuration Files"
2. --> Show All Definitions
3. --> GitHub Codespaces (Default)
4. --> Check the box Select Additional Features to Install

The screenshots appearing below exist on both VS code installed locally and running within the browser, so I am pretty sure this falls in the realm of responsibility of the team that manages the VS Code Codespaces Extension. I am not sure how to provide feedback to that team.

@joshspicer This seems to be fixed in the latest devcontainer.json support package.

Hello! Yes, this should be fixed in version 1.4.3 of the GitHub Codespaces extension, which released earlier today.

Please reopen if you continue to notice similar behavior so I can investigate further - @startakovsky
