MSRDC version: 1.2.6353
Direct3D version: 1.611.1-81528511

Windows version: 10.0.26100.6725
Freshly installed WSL2 two weeks ago.
Certain applications, specifically:
- firefox
- nautilus
- Jan.ai
become unresponsive after the computer wakes from sleep. The windows remain, "ps" shows the processes are still around, but trying to click on menus, input text, etc., will not work.
The wsl2 shell is fine and responds to commands, so I do not need to restart the WSL session and can kill and restart the above applications.
Other applications appear to respond ok to sleep / wake, have tested the below and they are fine:
- VLC
- Emacs
Steps to reproduce:
- In a WSL2 terminal window, apt install firefox (or any of the known bad apps above)
- Start firefox
- Put computer to sleep (do not only lock the computer, it MUST be put to sleep)
- Wake computer - this can be 1 minute or so later
- Check firefox window for responsiveness
WSL logs:
pulseaudio.log
stderr.log
weston.log
WSL dumps:
No response
Expected behavior:
All applications remain responsive after computer wakes
Actual behavior:
Certain applications become unresponsive
