authentication example/utilities

Hi
So I can test the sdk against o365 I'll naturally need to authenticate first. The documentation on the README leads to android dependencies which I'd like to avoid. I know you've authored lots in this space @Cbales, any chance you can put an example of authentication together (or indeed classes that make the process simple)?

Authentication is owned by the Azure Active Directory team. They do not have a current MSAL library available, but recommend ScribeJava. Otherwise, you can use the v1.0 ADAL auth library. The auth token documentation will overview the flows you can use, where to register your application, and what endpoints you will need to hit to authorize your application.

I agree that auth is a pain point for onboarding to Graph. Unfortunately, it is out of the scope of the Java preview. We are currently examining ways to improve this experience across all platforms.

Thanks for the start @Cbales. Took all day to sort out with the O365 admin but is now working. Have got the prototype to list a user's messages. Information to get this all working is all over the place. Some Japanese blogger ended up having most of the solution. I'll be writing it up for our purposes and will share somewhere.

ScribeJava incidentally doesn't support a client credentials workflow (service to service, no redirect uris) but I used bits and pieces of it.

Interesting to know about ScribeJava, considering the client credential flow is so popular with Graph. Definitely will bring this up both the AAD team and the samples team on our end.
