Hmm, this seems like something useful. I'll look into it tonight or tomorrow morning and try to get it working.

Once I get that working, I'll try to make a script that can install the entire project automatically (provided it is run by root), and a user can just wget and source it to install everything.

I've never looked into how auto complete works, but that would be handy if it was easy to add in.

Rather than a separate script, I personally think a .deb would be the way to go, at least for Debian/Ubuntu based distros.
