Is the Source Code project still alive?

The reason why I’m interested on this:
I saw some people creating some awesome ports like the Simpsons Hit and Run, the GTA games etc to the Nintendo Switch and PS Vita.

But It can only achieved with some kind of a source code to create these game ports easily to those systems. (Probably Freedom Fighters as well)

I mean Freedom Fighters port on the Switch and Vita might be amazing, since that game was originally released for the PS2, OG Xbox, GameCube and PC. Even I played the PC Version when I was a kid.

If the Source Code goes public, maybe I’ll tell someone who’s making these PS Vita Port to make this a reality. ( if it’s done)

the main question:
Since you been working on your reverse engineering project on the Source Code of Freedom Fighters. Is the Project still ongoing, need some help (I’m not a Programmer), what happen or what’s the status?
