I have the same battery and the same problem. You didn’t find a solution? There’s a guy on YouTube who shows how to enable an unsupported battery, but I don’t understand how to do it — maybe you can figure it out?

Auch ich habe einen gesperrten Makita Akku, er ist neuwertig.
Alle Zellen sind inordnung und perfekt balanziert. Es ist sehr merkwürdig wieso dieser Akku gesperrt wurde.
Auch ich erhalte die Meldung "this model only supports diagnostics"

Same issue. Same 5.0aH 18v battery. My batteries are properly working (just assembled OBI for testing/fun).

• I am using a china arduino nano. In Arduino IDE in order to load the firmware I had to choose "ATmega328P (Old bootloader)" otherwise it would not load.

• OBI is loaded in the arduino and reading the battery but can not use any of the reset options.

I also have a few batteries with status code 67, in an Unlocked state, but can't be charged, and are diagnostics only. On one, I manually balanced each cell to 3.5VDC, with 17.5VDC for the pack, but it still won't charge on a Makita charger.

What does status code 67 mean?
